Jack Charles Kelly has been performing jazz since age seventeen, playing alongside some of the best musicians on the island. A recipient of Moving on Music’s Emerging artist award in 2017, he received guidance from double bass idols including John Goldsby and Michael Janisch, and mentorship from MOBO nominated David Lyttle.
Guitarist Joseph Leighton has been hailed as one of Ireland’s brightest new jazz talents. Starting out as a teenage rock prodigy before jazz won his focus, Joseph has honed his skills over the years receiving guidance from guitar icons Jesse van Ruller, Mike Walker and Peter Bernstein. Another recipient of the Moving On Music Emerging Artists Award, Joseph has toured the world winning fans wherever he goes.
James Anderson is the go-to percussionist for Jack and Joseph. The drummer, composer and poet from Northern Ireland brings an unorthodox perspective to the project. The result is one of the most exciting young jazz trios on the island.
